nounGambinoism is a phenomenon resulted by multiple listenings of the pair of mixtapes entitled I Am Just A Rapper and I Am Just A Rapper 2 by Childish Gambino, perhaps more widely known as Donald Glover. After a listener becomes infected with the catchy lines Gambino lays over hit indie songs, said listener cannot help but recreate the rap themselves over the songs themselves when listening to the song by the original artist. Normally, this does not occur solely in the privacy of one’s own home. It can and will occur in public places: malls, parties, amusement park lines, in front of prospective lovers while dining in fine establishments.
